Share a barrier

What access problems are students running into?

Share a barrier you experienced so we can see common problems and where clearer resources may help.

This is not a complaint form. It is a way to help Medicine Without Barriers understand what access problems medical students are running into and what information is missing.

We may combine responses into a report for organizations such as the AMA, disability advocacy groups, and medical educators. The goal is to point out common problems and possible solutions.

Any public summary would describe combined patterns, not individual stories. For example: "34% of submitted barriers involved clinical rotations" or "X% of students did not know who to contact for help." These numbers would describe only people who chose to respond, not all U.S. medical students. We do not use responses to shame, rank, or accuse schools.

Please do not include your name, diagnosis, medical records, patient information, or anyone else's name.

What happens after I submit?

Responses go to a private project inbox through a secure form service. Only project maintainers with access to that inbox can see individual responses. We do not store them in a public database. Hosting and email providers may process normal request details, such as an IP address. If these responses are ever used for formal research, the project will first determine what IRB or other protections are needed.
